An army commander decides to take the offensive against the sinister Dr. Wily, and he puts Mega Man on the forefront of his elite team. But unknown to anyone else, the commander has ulterior motives...and in fact, just about everyone involved does except for:
Mega Man, who just wants to catch Dr. Wily...
...and Wily, who just wants to destroy him.
