On Ice

“Dr. Wily!” Lana gasped as Kevin moved in front of her, his zapper at ready. “What are you doing here, you fiend?”

“Don’t get so worked up,” Dr. Wily replied with a smile. “I’m just here to return something that belongs to you.” As he spoke a large robot moved forward from behind the ranks. Draped over his arm was a limp blue form.

“Mega Man!” Lana cried in horror as Doc Man tossed down his load. Mega Man landed heavily and with a sickening thud, and remained absolutely still.

“I thought I’d let him enjoy the next few hours with you,” Dr. Wily sneered as his robots turned and began walking away. “They will be his last.”
