Uses: ?
Built From: Pen Light and Zetsabre
Appears In: MML1, MML2
Blade Arm
MegaMan swipes with a beam sabre. Entertaining, but generally useless.
Uses: ?
Built From: Blunted Drill
Appears In: MML1, MML2
Drill Arm
Can be used to destroy blocks and walls—just get in close and keep drilling till they fall! This is the only weapon that can destroy the walls leading to the Main Gate.
Uses: ?
Built From: Bomb Schematic
Appears In: MML1
Grand Grenade
Like the Grenade Arm but the resulting explosion is larger and the grenades don’t bounce. Can take out certain blocks and barriers.
Uses: ?
Built From: Grenade Kit
Appears In: MML1
Grenade Arm
Tosses grenades. The explosion does not harm MegaMan so you can chuck these with impunity.
Uses: ?
Built From: Blumebear Parts
Appears In: MML1
Machine Buster
Fires a rapid stream of laser-like bullets, complete with “bullet casings” that pop out from the gun itself. Has a high rate of fire and decent range, but isn’t very powerful.
Uses: ?
Built From: Cannon Kit
Appears In: MML1
Powered Buster
Shoots a large fiery sphere. Extremely low rate of fire; only one sphere can be active at a time.
Uses: ?
Built From: MysticOrb and Marlwolf Shell
Appears In: MML1, MML2
Shield Arm
Generates a shield in front of MegaMan. Consumes energy continually while active and MegaMan cannot move while the shield is up.
Uses: ?
Built From: Prism Crystal, Weapon Plans, and X Buster
Appears In: MML1, MML2
Shining Laser
Fires a continuous beam which extends from MegaMan’s cannon to its maximum range. Consumes energy for as long as it is active. MegaMan can turn and aim while firing this but cannot walk.
Uses: ?
Built From: Mine Parts Kit
Appears In: MML1
Splash Mine
MegaMan drops these on the ground. They explode after a preset span of time or if something runs over them, whichever occurs first. Unfortunately you can trigger your own mines and receive damage from them so be careful.
Uses: ?
Built From: Arm Supporter, Ancient Book, and Old Launcher
Appears In: MML1
Spread Buster
Shoots three grenades at once. As with most of the weapons, MegaMan cannot move while firing this.
Uses: ?
Built From: Broken Cleaner, Broken Motor, and Broken Propeller
Appears In: MML1, MML2
Vacuum Arm
Sucks up refractor shards and energy cubes dropped by defeated enemies. Its energy can be upgraded to infinite, which means it can be used as much as you want.

Items

Top Help
Only significant items are detailed here; others are merely used to build other things, or are explained already on the Game Hints side.

Appears In: MML1, MML2
Adapter Plug
Allows you to equip three Buster Parts rather than just two. It’s just as useful as it sounds; get this ASAP.
Appears In: MML1, MML2
Energy Canteen
Refills your life meter. You can purchase extra packs from the Junk Store, and refill used packs there as well. Each pack restores one unit of energy when you use the canteen. A nice feature is that the canteen will not refill more than you need; any extra units remain in the canteen for future use. This is unlike Mega Man games where Energy/Sub-Tanks are used completely even if you don’t need all of their energy.
Appears In: MML1, MML2
Helmet
This helps prevent MegaMan from being knocked down by attacks. (Ignore what Roll says about falling great distances; it is impossible to receive damage in this game from falling.)
Appears In: MML1, MML2
Jet Skates
Equip, then hold Circle to Roller Dash. This allows you to travel faster and can be entertaining as well. If you jet off the edge of a ledge or other object, MegaMan will jump automatically; otherwise there is no way to jump while dashing. Control MegaMan with the control pad; press forward to go faster and back to slow down.
Appears In: MML1
Jump Springs
This item allows MegaMan to jump much higher. The Jump Springs are vital in reaching many areas of the ruins.

Characters

Also Known As: MegaMan Trigger; Rock
Appears In: MML1, MML2
MegaMan Voulnutt
Discovered abandoned when he was just a baby, MegaMan was taken into care by Barrell Caskett, a retired Digger. He grew up alongside Barrell’s granddaughter Roll and learned how to become a skilled Digger himself. MegaMan is accompanied by a robot monkey named Data, who was by his side when he was discovered.
Appears In: MML1, MML2
Roll Caskett
Granddaughter of Barrell Caskett, Roll was orphaned when her parents mysteriously disappeared during a dig. Though only 14, she is a mechanical genius and loves to build and repair machines. She acts as a Spotter for MegaMan, remaining aboveground while he digs and using a radio to communicate with him. Although she cannot actually see what is going on, her Spotter equipment allows her to pick up signals from underground, often telling her of dangers and secrets invisible to the human eye.
Appears In: MML1, MML2
Barrell Caskett
A retired Digger, Barrell is a renowned archeologist. He has passed down his extensive knowledge of Digging to his adopted son MegaMan, offering advice as necessary.
Appears In: MML1, MML2
Data
A curious robotic monkey that was found with MegaMan. The little robot holds vast knowledge and acts as MegaMan’s guide and companion. He speaks in gibberish that only MegaMan can understand.
Appears In: MML1, MML2, MoT
Teisel Bonne
The eldest of the Bonne siblings, Teisel acts as the head of a family of pirates. A rather loud, brash man, Teisel can change moods on the drop of a dime. His goal in life is to find treasure, particularly the Mother Lode—even if it’s at the expense of someone else.
Appears In: MML1, MML2, MoT
Tron Bonne
A wiz with machinery who is very much a mirror of Roll. Tron builds robots for the Bonnes to use in their pirate raids. She also often heads up such expeditions herself. Tron is a little hot-headed but cares about her family (such as it is) and will fight to protect them. She treats her Servbots almost like children, giving them praise at times and harsh discipline at others.
Appears In: MML1, MML2, MoT
Bon Bonne
Called the baby of the family, Bon is basically a huge robot with a pacifier. The only word he can say is “babu” but somehow the other Bonnes can understand what he really means.
Appears In: MML1, MML2, MoT
Servbots
Small robots which perform various tasks for the Bonnes, including scouting, attacking, and chores. There are forty of these and each has its own characteristics.
