INTRODUCTION

The first Legends game was actually known as Rockman D.A.S.H in Japan where it originated. Capcom then changed the name when they brought it over to English to Mega Man Legends, and the Legends series was born.

This series tells the tale of a world covered almost completely by water, with only small islands jutting up here and there to break up the monotony. The planet is covered, both on land and in the depths of the vast sea, with ruins from an ancient, by-gone civilization; these ruins are full of both treasure and danger. Adventurers known as Diggers explore these networks of caverns and tunnels, risking their lives to uncover their secrets.

The Legends games really focus on two families: MegaMan, who would soon to become a reknowned Digger, was adopted when he was a baby by a retired Digger named Barrell and raised along with Barrell’s granddaughter Roll. On the other side are the Bonnes: Teisel, Tron, and Bon who are pirates and not half-bad Diggers themselves (although they use less than savory methods).
